This novel is inspired by the true story of a captive gorilla named Ivan. Ivan tells of his 27 years of interacting with humans and friends outside of his life in the jungle. Join us in exploring this touching story of a gorilla and his friends. A novel packet will be provided which will include various independent activities along with a reading pacing guide.

This event is part of a series. When you sign up for the first you will be registered for the others. Before the first class, students will pick up their novel packet and copy of the book so that they can begin reading and come prepared to discuss the sections outlined in the reading guide. Further instructions will be provided upon registration and questions are always welcome!
