The Library is making a change to our Summer Yoga Sessions in regards to registration and fees! For Summer Yin Yang Yoga, there is no registration needed, as we are moving to a drop-in class system. You will simply show up to class, sign in, pay a $1 fee, and enjoy the class! There are 20 spots available each week for this class. There will also be $10 punch cards available at the Information Desk. You can purchase one of these cards and then simply have it punched every time you come to class. This yoga class is designed for all levels of yogis, including beginners. Enjoy the benefits of slow flow yoga movement and long periods of stretching during this one-hour Yin Yang class. We will work on balance, breathing, strength, and flexibility to promote a healthy life. Wear comfortable clothing and bring your yoga mat to this weekly yoga class. Instructed by certified yoga instructor Jo Ann McClure.
Instructor Jo Ann McClure is a certified yoga instructor with 200 hours of training through A Work in Progress Yoga Studio in Salina. Jo Ann began her yoga journey through the library, which initiated a dream to become an instructor. A library enthusiast, Jo Ann considers one of her hobbies lifelong learning, having taken a wide variety of classes over the years.
