Happy Bear is an audience-interactive, active-learning program presented by Child Advocacy and Parenting Services (CAPS).

Book Club to New Worlds features a rotating selection of Fantasy Novels, Science Fiction Novels, and Graphic Novels that are either fantasy or science fiction themed.

Join us for a Storytime designed to meet the early literacy needs of children ages 18-36 months. Children and their caregivers will enjoy stories, rhymes, songs and play.

Explore science, technology, engineering, art, and math through hands-on activities and creative challenges! Each session encourages curiosity, problem-solving, and fun while learning. 

The north doors of the library are opened by 6:45 a.m. prior to the board meeting.  Board meetings are held in the Campbell Room unless noted otherwise on the board agenda.

Kick off the summer with carnival games, face painting, and more. Fun for the whole family! Pizza provided, first come first served. Find us in Caldwell Plaza on the lawn of the library. 

Tinker Tots is a STEAM-based learning program for children ages 3-6. Each month, we will incorporate unique learning activities with themes such as building, engineering, math, science, technology, and art.

Salina Public Library, in partnership with St. John’s Missionary Baptist Church, will provide free grab-and-go lunches starting May 26 through July 31.
