Event Details

A look at how early rock music lyrically challenged the status quo. Not just forbidden romance and parties, lyrics often addressed the social, political, and cultural changes of their day. From civil rights and war protests, to feminism and gay rights, rock joined other music styles in bringing artistic expression to current cultural conflicts.
