A look at the aesthetics of rock music, especially in regards to 1) song ""form: and 2) rock's attempts to ""grow up"" from its earliest adolescent roots to becoming more ""adult"" in the mid-60s. How was this transformation of “growing up,” manifested in the music, and was the transformation successful?
