Join us for an evening with Dan Kois, author of the 2020 Kansas Notable Book How to Be a Family: The Year I Dragged My Kids Around The World To Find A New Way To Be Together.
In this parenting/travel memoir, Dan regales the reader with the adventures of his family’s experiences
living in four different countries over the course of a year—including small-town Kansas. We’ll explore
Dan’s thoughts on what his experiences taught him about life, parenting, and travel, and also about the
Salina Reads theme of community. Feel free to bring a question for the author during a Q&A session.
