The Ninth Street Women

In this "gratifying, generous, and lush" true story, Gabriel describes the lives and careers of five pioneering women artists who entered the male-dominated world of mid-20th century abstract painting and changed their field and American society in the process.

The Art Center Book Club is a collaboration between the Salina Art Center and Salina Public Library focusing on non-fiction titles related to art.  Copies of the book are available for checkout at Salina Public Library.
