The Phone Booth at the Edge of the World

by Laura Imai Messina
Yui, a woman grieving the loss of her family after a devastating tsunami, discovers a mysterious phone booth where people go to speak to their lost loved ones. As Yui forms connections with others who are healing from their own losses, the story beautifully explores themes of grief, hope, and human connection.
