The LGBTQ+ book group will provide a safe space for anyone interested in reading and engaging with others about novels with LGBTQ+ themes.

Ma-Nee Chacaby’s memoir, A Two-Spirit Journey, recounts her life as an Ojibwa-Cree lesbian, highlighting her survival of abuse, alcoholism, and the lasting impacts of colonialism. Through resilience and support, Chacaby overcomes adversity, becoming a leader and advocate for Indigenous and LGBTQ+ communities.
