The Stranger in the Woods

by Michael Finkel

Documents the true story of a man who endured a hardscrabble, isolated existence in a tent in the Maine woods, never speaking with others and surviving by stealing supplies from nearby cabins, for 27 years, in a portrait that illuminates the survival means he developed and the reasons behind his solitary life.

Join us in the Campbell Room to discuss this month's title.  Attendance is free and registration is required.

Can’t make it in person?  You can also attend via Zoom!  A link will be sent to all participants the day of the meeting so you can choose what works best for you.

A limited number of copies of each title are available for checkout.
