Andy & Judy - New England Folk in Concert

Due to unforeseen circumstances, Andy & Judy have canceled their performance with us this summer. We apologize for any disappointment and hope Andy & Judy can soon get back on the road!

Andy and Judy play guitars, mandolin, banjo, ukulele, and other instruments. They have performed on Folk coffeehouse stages, in libraries, festivals, and other venues in 25 states. During a concert, they perform original songs in many different styles, such as traditional Folk, roots music, country swing, or bluegrass. They invite the audience to participate by singing, clapping, or stomping to their original tunes. As contemporary folk singers/songwriters, they tell stories through our songs - many of which are based on historical events, times, or places. Also, the audience will learn about the tradition of folk singing as evidenced through their learning and singing of new songs in the spirit of community.

Andy & Judy are a Boston area folk duo who regularly perform at libraries, coffeehouses, and concert venues throughout the Northeast, Mid-Atlantic, Midwest, and Great Lakes regions. Their original, lyric-driven songs feature close harmonies blending Judy's evocative alto and Andy's rich baritone. Beginning instrumentally with a classic folk guitar base, Andy & Judy have deepened their sound through the addition of mandolin, banjo, piano, harmonica, ukulele, percussion, and more!. Even though their songwriting style has its roots firmly planted in traditional and folk music, the influences of country, gospel, blues, and bluegrass can be heard in their songs.
