Ever wondered what it takes to create a basic video game? Come join us in using Scratch to create a very basic video game using block coding.

Come experience and appreciate film at Salina Art Center Cinema through Kanopy. We will have a discussion led by Cinema Manager Brooks Olivier and Librarian Ashley Will afterward.

Family Fun Storytime combines the best elements of all our story times to suit a wide range of ages so that the whole family can attend together for stories, songs, rhymes and music time.

Up to one hour of assistance per patron. Please make sure and bring your device and all logins and passwords you may need. Basic computer skills are required, such as the ability to use a mouse and keyboard.

Mystery Book of the Month is an opportunity to sign up to receive a book chosen by library staff that will be a mystery until you take it home! Books will be checked out to you for 28 days.

Kick off the summer with carnival games, face painting, and more. Fun for the whole family! Hot dogs and chips provided, first come first served. Find us in Caldwell Plaza on the lawn of the library.

Are you interested in learning how to access digital coupons? Come join us in looking at some different places that use digital coupons and how to use them.

Do you like to solve puzzles? Then come join us and work with a team to solve different puzzles or tasks and see if you can break out before time is up!

Join explorers Ringo and Mike on their adventure as they discover musical favorites like Wheels on the Bus, If You’re Happy and You Know It, and B-I-N-G-O.

Would you like to learn to run a robot? Come join us in learning about a Sphero Bolt and how to drive it. By the end of the week, we will be using block coding to give the Bolt directions. 

Get dedicated assistance from Salina Public Library Technology Staff regarding your technology needs. Please make sure to bring necessary device(s) and logins/passwords to your appointment.

Salina Public Library, in partnership with St. John’s Missionary Baptist Church, will provide free grab-and-go lunches this summer. Pickup will begin May 28th and run through August 2nd. Priority will be given to youth ages 0-18.
