Let’s welcome our special friend and author, Emily Hatesohl, to storytime. She will read her book, “Grandpa Works with One Hammer,” then do a fun activity with you! 

Salina Songwriters is a loose group of local songwriters who meet once a month to share songs and encourage each other in our individual creative endeavors.

Book Club to New Worlds features a rotating selection of Fantasy Novels, Science Fiction Novels, and Graphic Novels that are either fantasy or science fiction themed. 

Bring your little one to an interactive program with simple books, gentle movement and songs. 

Join us for a Storytime designed to meet the early literacy needs of children ages 18-36 months. Children and their caregivers will enjoy stories, rhymes, songs and play.

 *No Toddler Storytime May 25.

A casual chess meet–up open to players of all skill levels. Challenge new opponents, enjoy the thrill of the game, and sharpen your strategy in a relaxed, social setting—no formal instruction, just pure play.

The north doors of the library are opened by 6:45 a.m. prior to the board meeting.  Board meetings are held in the Prescott Room unless noted otherwise on the board agenda.

Registration is required and opens one week prior to the event.

Reading to dogs can boost reading skills in children as well as help with emotional and social skills. Practice reading tail-waggin’ books for 15 minutes to a four-legged friend in a non-judgmental environment.
